Carousel Lincoln
If you're wandering down High Street in Lincoln and happen to spot a crowd laughing over cocktails and flipping through a quirky food menu-chances are, you've found Carousel Lincoln. Located at 287 High St, this place isn't just a restaurant; it's a whole vibe. It effortlessly blends bold flavors, buzzing nightlife, and a touch of playfulness that makes it a local favorite for anyone looking to shake up their dining routine.
Let’s start with the menu, because wow-Carousel Lincoln knows how to serve up fun on a plate. One minute you’re diving into Korean BBQ Bao Buns, the next you’re tearing through a hot dog stacked with toppings, or savoring smoky Pulled Pork that's clearly spent some quality time in the smoker. If you’re in the mood for something a little more hands-on, the Hoi Sin Shredded Duck Pancakes are a must-crispy, sticky, and ridiculously satisfying. For the adventurous, Bombay Caulibombs offer a veggie option that still brings the heat, while the Saratcha Chicken Wings deliver a fiery kick with a tangy twist.
And don’t even get me started on the drinks menu. The cocktails here go beyond your usual mojito or margarita. Ever tried the Just Tattoo of Us? It’s cheeky, colorful, and exactly the kind of drink that demands a photo before you sip. Whiskey lovers will feel right at home with a perfectly balanced Whiskey Sour, while those craving something fruity can cool down with an Old Mout Cherries and Berries Cider. The happy-hour selections? Generous. And yes, there’s a dreamy Pancake Stack available if your sweet tooth kicks in after a few drinks.
What really makes Carousel Lincoln stand out isn’t just the food and drinks-it’s the atmosphere. There's karaoke nights, quiz nights, and even live performances to keep the energy high and the experience fresh every time. Want to challenge your friends to a round of bar games or hit up the arcade section while waiting for your food? Go ahead, it’s all part of the fun. This place doesn’t just serve meals-it serves memories.
Accessibility is another thoughtful touch. There’s a wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet, making the space welcoming for more guests. Outdoor seating is available too, perfect for people-watching on warmer days. Whether you’re popping in for a casual drink, planning a fun group night out, or grabbing a cheeky takeaway, Carousel Lincoln covers all bases. It also doubles as a laid-back lunch spot or a pre-party hangout, depending on your mood.
And for those looking for meatless magic, the Lemon & Herb Halloumi Ciabatta is a crunchy, zesty, vegetarian-friendly masterpiece. It’s little menu gems like these that show how Carousel caters to all tastes, without taking itself too seriously.
There’s something uniquely magnetic about this place. It’s part retro arcade, part late-night bar, part eclectic eatery-and somehow, it works. The staff are upbeat, the music’s always vibing, and the crowd? A lively mix of locals, students, and curious foodies who heard the rumors and had to check it out.
So if you’re the type who wants your dinner with a side of neon lights, laughter, and unexpected flavor combinations, Carousel Lincoln might just become your new go-to.

We had a graduation party at Carousel & everything was fabulous! The service was excellent, staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The food was beautiful, cooked to perfection and delicious. The atmosphere was perfect, although fun, we felt like our privacy was respected too and we could enjoy a good meal & cocktails. Ah, the cocktails are out of this world too! The games arcade upstairs is a lovely touch to a nice evening out. All in all, a perfect evening
Loved the atmosphere here. Had the Sunday roast, with appletize and tokens for the arcades upstairs. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend 5
Whilst we had a great time as a group in the arcade and game areas the food was a real let down. We ordered birria beef, jack fruit and marinated chicken which didn’t even taste like it had seen salt and pepper let alone the flavours described. Similarly, other elements of the meal were underwhelming, such as the coleslaw with no mayonnaise. Overall, pleasant staff and we would return for the activities but not for the food.
So much fun. We did shuffle board and arcades. Loved every minute
Popped in for a quick bite while visiting Lincoln. Food was delicious and even better we went on Wings Wednesday. They also offered student discount which made the food taste better . Really cool atmosphere and decorations with an arcade upstairs. What a hidden gem!
